Straight Answers

FAQ.

The questions producers actually ask, answered the way we’d answer on the phone. Anything else: 480-489-0998.

Booking
How fast can you actually be on set?

Phoenix metro: same-day is often real. Arizona: usually next morning. Anywhere else: tell us the date — the truck and the crew both travel. “Response within hours” is the quote, not the shoot.

What does a day cost?

It depends on the rig — an FPV day and a heavy-lift day with a RED package are different animals. Send the shot and the date and you’ll have a real number in your inbox, not a range on a phone tree.

Do you travel outside Arizona?

Anywhere. Gear trucks or ships, crew flies. A thousand productions taught us how to land a full aerial unit in another state without drama.

On Set
How big is your footprint?

Usually two or three people and one vehicle. We stage tight, brief the AD, and stay off your channel unless we’re needed.

Can you fly our camera package?

Yes — RED, ARRI and Venice builds fly regularly on the ALTA platforms. Send the build list; we’ll confirm weight, balance and lens limits the same day.

What happens if weather kills the window?

We call it early and honestly. Wind and heat limits are published in our brief before shoot day, so a hold never surprises anyone.

Legal & Insurance
Are you insured for a real production?

$5M liability, COI issued to your production and location before the scout. Additional insured and waiver-of-subrogation requests are routine.

Are your pilots certificated?

Part 107 across the board — including the first Part 107 certificate registered in Arizona. Airspace authorizations and waivers are filed before we roll.

Who handles permits?

We handle drone-side authorizations and can run film-permit paperwork with your coordinator — we’ve done it in most Arizona jurisdictions and plenty beyond.

Deliverables
What do we walk away with on shoot day?

Cards offloaded and verified by our DIT before wrap, with selects and stills available same-day when the schedule wants them.

What formats do you shoot?

Whatever cuts with your ground unit — R3D, ARRIRAW, ProRes. Frame rates and LUTs matched to your DP’s spec, not our preference.

Still have a question?

Skip the form if it’s faster to talk — a pilot answers the phone, not a service. (We do use an AI call screener, because scammers suck.)
